2016: There's nothing we can do to stop unlimited people from EU countries coming to this country and enjoying the same rights & privileges as all the rest of us.
2017: There are restrictions that can be placed
2⃣ Nigel Farage has almost blatantly expressed that he's not concerned with whether Brexit makes us poorer.

Here's a thread which I'm calling "Everything you need to know about the EU and Brexit", so that when I inevitably realise I've forgotten something crucial, I'll embarrassingly tag it on the end.
Is the EU democratic? There are 4 main decision-making bodies:
European Council: Heads of Government of 28 countries
@EUCouncil: National Ministers
@EU_Commission: 28 officials appointed by European Council
@Europarl_EN: 750 directly elected MEPs
We have 73 out of 750 MEPs in the European Parliament.
That means that despite being one of 28 countries we have roughly 10% of the voting weight of the body that ultimately decides all* EU law.

This is unbelievable, Daniel Hannan, the idiots idiot, ponders why the Swiss are so successful; glossing over that they're in the free market (including Schengen) he thinks one of those reasons is them being outside the Common Fisheries Policy - think about that - SWITZERLAND!!!!
