Hey ya’ll have I mentioned that I have a major in for all you poetry fans out there? As it happens, I’m good friends, like life long friends, day 0 friends, with the owner & proprietor of @openpoetrybooks in Seattle, one of only a handful of poetry only bookstores in the country!
So if you’re in the Seattle area drop on by. Take a picture with Edward-you’ll know Edward when you see him-let the staff know you like crows and birds and want to kick back with some bird related poetry magic, or hey pick a different topic, or just let them surprise you.
Not in the Seattle but want to embrace your need for poetry? Sign up for their ~new~ subscription service where a rotating list of PNW poets will pick a monthly book of poems spanning time, topics, perspective...let’s just say horizons will be expanded. openpoetrybooks.com/subscription-s…
So check them out and feed your old passion or discover a new one. And say hi to Edward for me.
