First they stampede to power good for nothing charlatans, who end up abusing & oppressing them. These are folks that will never grant them audience but covet their worship. When interventionists step in to fill the gap, they get insulted by the very same people under oppression.

The world however is moving on and given the current trajectory, we may never be able to compete globally. We are aware of the state of the recluse we have balkanizing institutions with demagogues to keep us stuck in 1983. Nigerians make it everywhere in the world but in Nigeria.

Only the united force of the people can break this chain. In truth this is no curse but a conditioning to normalize evil with morbid complacency. Our youth are being forcefully weaned off the adoption of technology with the barbaric primitivity of @PoliceNG illegal clampdown.

Soon Customs will begin placing outrageous tariffs on technology devices if not render them a contraband ordered only by fraudsters. It is already happening from the torrents of complaints we receive daily from citizens being criminally charged for devices in their hand luggage.

A lot of us used to be crazy about using the latest technology not because we can afford it really but because Nigerians love quality and functionality, except when it comes to political matters where they simply accept their fate with Kakistocracy.

But here is the bad news. The horizon of the global connection economy is shifting and that trend is driven by technological advancement that we may never be able to catch up on fiscally. I will explain using simple examples you can relate to.

For those using Apple products and compliant with the Apple ecosystem as integrated. You will admit that over the past decade we have seen a shift from outrightly purchasing Apps to subscriptions. It is a subtle change but it mirrors the future of business going forward.

What they do is create new features for the Apps you love and ask you to buy the new version. Over time they stop support for the old version and with the constant Operating System upgrades and new versions of devices, you will be forced to move eventually.

So how can an impoverished people survive a world driven by subscriptions? Even the upgrade of my DJ App on Mac OS and iPad OS are now subscription based. Mind you I have over a 100 productivity Apps that serve as my assistant. So you see, the future won’t be cheap.

Before you curse out App Developers (which includes my very self) nite that the ecosystem of the business Of App Development doesn’t exactly support outright sale. An App is not a product but a service. Developers will attest to this. Every App is like a Child you must groom.

So no amount of money justifies equitably or economically the cost from the one-off perspective. The cost of maintaining Apps and complying with OS upgrades on an annual basis is not cheap. Developers end up slaving away to keep the utility of their app for nothing more.

This alone has bankrupted a lot of developers who once celebrated their huge success. So the cost model Of App business or should we now say Service going forward is now justifiably subscription based. This will transcend Apps but services generally.

Instead of waiting to be contacted by my client, I can now mandate anyone who needs my services to sign up for retainer. This way they pay me monthly to prioritize their calls at a reduced charge for the actual work done. Anyone not on the list may likely not get prioritized.

This works for accountability and transparency too. This is why progressive firms register their vendors and include them/their services/rates in their accounting softwares to avoid discrepancies. As U can see, things will get tougher for those baptized in the pool of corruption.

Those giving Govt foreign aids while watching the money disappear with the problems lingering will raise their requirement and the true state of underdevelopment will be revealed. Once those free money dries up they will dig deeper into our collective patrimony.

The cars of the future will not run on Fuel because the world is watching the carbon footprints. In a country run by generators, when precisely would we be ready for electric cars on crater, caldera, & cavity ridden roads? Recall your pseudo austere Ruler rides in a Maybach? 🤔

So the decision you take today will determine if you make the proverbial Noah’s Ark or you perish with the political relics plunging us into apocalyptic woes while making idiots of our intellectuals defending their inanities. It won’t take long.

The kakistocratic model where the worst of lunatics amongst us gets stampeded to power is no longer sustainable. The global powers already know the implication of Revolution in a Country like Nigeria. They need to protect their own country & thus need Nigeria to heal.

Already the catalysts Of Revolution are already rearing their heads. Police have gone rogue and area boys are in government. Cultists are taking over our communities and new breeds of rogues are registering their notoriety every passing week. The Fulani Militia are unstoppable...

...as pampered just as Boko Haram have suddenly become invincible. Niger delta militants cum Avengers are there waiting for Govt to fail on their promises for them to test their weapons. Ijaw boys are there too, just as much as Badoo ritual killers.

The teenagers that used to struggle to clean your windscreen have now galvanized their efforts to pay society in its own coin by forming the burgeoning dreaded squad Called “Omo No Salary”- just imagine what 4years Of the abberation brought you & simulate the next 4years.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother but I guess thinking about greater Nigeria and working towards same have become a cross I have to bear. If not, all these are enough to depress anyone. The issues seem insurmountable especially with tone deaf rulers who care less about the people.

There is a bright future for innovators but what is the use of a prosperous man in the midst of hundreds of impoverished souls seeking for survival in the now. How many people can the single individual help before he is dragged into poverty by those gasping under oppression?

Don’t assume that Americans or the French are worried about you swimming to breach their territorial integrity. That is not the issue, the embassies can always toughen the entry. The critical issue is Nigerians invading Rwanda, Cameroon and other Western influence in Africa.

These political greenhouses are the greatest safe-deposit boxes of foreign interests. Most can’t even boast of the population of Lagos. Think about what Revolution in Nigeria will do to Ghana that is an Okada away from Lagos. The rulers have no future, they’re eating into ours.

Finance has been fingered as the foundation of human progress just as technological innovation gives rise to deeper civilization. From ancient Babylon to the silver mines of Bolivia...another disrupt is over the horizon. Will we be consumed or play a significant role? 🤔
