Breaking — Rep. Nadler announces deal with Justice Department to obtain some evidence obtained by Robert Mueller in obstruction investigation
“I will hold the criminal contempt process in abeyance for now,” Nadler says. A criminal contempt vote had not been scheduled. Tomorrow’s vote beginning civil contempt process (specially, lawsuits to enforce subpoenas) is still on.

There was a defensive briefing, but it was more general than the ongoing Russian operation or any specific concerns about members of Trump's team.
However, even the witness called by Republicans, Andrew McCarthy, has said that the Trump campaign should have known to just call the FBI

I'm at the House Intelligence Committee hearing on Volume 1 of the Mueller report, the part dealing with Russian interference. It's scheduled to start soon.

But Barr was never going to be held in criminal contempt. That would be DOJ would have to charge the attorney general with a crime. Not happening.
