My partner and I like to lay in bed and talk about our favorite South Asian rice dishes. You know, just normal pilau talk.
I recognize that was a terrible joke, but if you give me a hard time about it I might pilaf another one just like it.
Pilaf jokes are usually my jokes of last risotto.
When I feel like I have to say *something* in order to rice to the occasion.
These jokes are all funnier if you imagine them being said by Mia Farro, with each punch line accompanied by a flourish of jasmine hands.
My aforementioned partner, who is almost never on Twitter, just texted me this. Carbohydrate puns are obviously a thing with us. 
You might say we’re like carb pun copies of each other.
