Want to share with you my experience last week in Kingston conducting interviews. Interviewed over 60 young Jcans. Outcome of over 60 could only find 24 and of which 21 were females to proceed to the next stage of hiring process. Heartbroken, frightened and puzzled by what has
become of our young men. All my life interacted with men -boarding school, 35 years mil career (incl 4 years at a training depot that took raw recruits and made them into soldiers). But I have never come across this new brand of Jcan men. No self respect, no pride, no goals, lost
comprehension skills zero. At least four high on drugs. It can’t be our educational system because females were the complete opposite. Proud, articulate, ambitious, focussed. Responsible approach to life’s challenges. Once again, shocked how many didn’t know their fathers etc
Worrying how many single ladies of age 25 years and below with 2 or more children. All candidates provided proof of high school qualification and higher education qualifications. Can someone please explain what’s happening to our men or was it just my luck of the draw?
