When we last left our heroes: They're in scary Shin jail! Surely nothing bad will happen here.

Oh cool, she can tinker via sound now. Cool cool cool. Kenzie is this character that I find myself really struggling to get a good handle on. Every time I think she's heading off a cliff, she has the Chris moment from last week...

And every time she has one of those, I can't help but find the thousand little red flags that get me nervous all over again.

The other side of this coin is of course...that the Darlene connection is helping Kenzie with her issues more than any one thing could. But is that...good!? I DON'T KNOW

Well, we had the nice midnight love story prison scene, so let's go ahead and shift into the horrible psychological manipulation scene. Yay.

Rain's attraction to this isn't surprising. But I love how the Shin prison system and the Gimel prison system mirror the Amy and Victoria conflict.

Is it too tinfoil hat-y to wonder if this is just Shin testing Amy? Toss Victoria and Co in prison. Arrange for them, specifically her, to get injured (and have plausible deniability about the incident) and then...see what Amy does...
