Many of them are killed by WHITE MEN

1. Ppl felt a way in the comments of this tweet I made earlier. They said I was reaching..So lets do an analysis of the general anti-Black animosity that comes with the airline. People in the dominant society have always had an intrinsic anxiety about traveling with Black people
2. This was the main reason they had strictly enforced Jim Crow sections in modes of transportation like trains, buses, etc. This anxiety is REALLY enforced on ships. (you can guess where that anxiety stemmed from)
3. Systematic white supremacy is maintained by having a MILITARY mechanism at the immediate disposal of the suspected white supremacists for protection. This generally comes in the form of law enforcement. People who benefit from systematic white supremacy are fully aware of this

0. Now that the #Reparations hearing farce is over, lets have a REAL discussion right now that will address the questions of reparations in 10 points (continued)
1. "I never owned slaves so I'm not responsible"

Slavery was sanctioned by the federal government, and all those UNDER the government profited from free Black labor. So the same government & its subjects owe Black people for the free labor that accumulated ALL the wealth today
2. "I'm Irish, so am I owed reparations?"

Irish indentured servants already received two forms of reparations. One was Freedom Dues (money & land). And the second, was all the tangible benefits that came with the first Affirmative Action program called white supremacy

1. When you look at the FACTS of the O.J. Simpson case (not the media spin) you will realize not only is O.J. completely innocent, the “murder scenario” that implicates O.J. is utterly ridiculous. It defies physics and logic, and it’s based on inherent anti-Black racism (Cont)
2. What we are told to believe is O.J. woke up one night, and remembered he beat his ex wife 3 years earlier. And for no apparent reason whatsoever, he decided to go and kill her...Before he caught a flight that same night. That NEVER made any sense (Cont)
3. So O.J. just randomly decided to kill his ex wife, and he chose to put on the most ridiculous outfit in toddler to do it. According to the prosecution, OJ put on a skull cap, some small gloves that didn’t fit, a sweatsuit, and some Bruno Magli dress shoes. (????)

People wonder why I'd want to appear--especially appear naked--on an unscripted documentary series (aka "Reality TV"), when #trans people have had so many negative experiences in the media, our stories given shallow treatments and exploited for dramatic effect. 1/?
But if I'm honest, I wasn't drawn to appearing on @NakedAndAfraid despite the nudity requirement--it was an alluring feature.

I felt, as a trans guy, that stripping down would be a relief, a way to get it over with & just finally say the unsayable, widely and publicly.
So often our bodies are under scrutiny, spoken or unspoken -- whether at work, at the doctor's office, around the family of a love interest, etc.

People seem to think your junk is their business. But always on their terms.

I’d like to deal with both of these propositions, as well as why this development should be alarming for anyone — even those who have taken a more ambivalent stance because they don’t support what Eisenhower once called the ‘military-industrial complex.’ 2/
First, to the idea of a burden. I’m not going to deal too much with the actual costs, though Trump has made much of the fact that trans people are ‘too expensive’ for the Pentagon. This he even claimed in his first tweets proposing the ban. 3/

Many Black cisgender/heterosexual people are so accustomed to Black queer and trans people being treated/regarded as sinful, secondary, non-human, shameful, and disgusting that it confuses and angers them when we don't bow down to their whims...
... and express gratitude for them not beating the shit out of us or murdering us where we stand just for being alive.
A lot of what I'm getting from these passive-aggressive and outright aggressive comments on this particular subject is the sense that Black queer/trans people should shut the fuck up, let anti-queerness and anti-transness be what it is...
