Social democrat crank accounts with tens of thousands of followers are now piling on a 16 year old to defend a Labour MP who went into coalition with the Tories, supported PFI schemes and the bombing of Libya. 
This tweet from Chris Williamson promoting conspiracy theorist Vanessa Beeley is still up, with no acknowledgement of criticisms or apology.
Chris Williamson's pinned tweet, it's from when he doorstopped the Integrity Initiative to defend Spanish colonel Pedro Baños. Baños missed out on an appointment due to claims of anti-Semitism, which Williamson blamed on a co-ordinated smear campaign by the Integrity Initiative.
Now just a two weeks ago Penguin insisted that there was no anti-Semitism in Baños's book 'How they rule the world', even though the English translation quietly removed references to the Rothschilds, and Penguin put an octopus on the cover.
Two weeks later, a second investigation confirmed 'echoes of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories' in the original Spanish version. Although the review seems to have taken the position that the book treads a fine line rather than being openly anti-Semitic. theguardian.com/books/2019/jun…
