ICYMI: Yesterday, House Ways & Means filed a lawsuit against Treasury re obtaining Trump's tax returns, asking the courts to uphold Chairman Neal's subpoena's for docs & Mnuchin's testimony. #WednesdayWisdom

2-"This is the first time House Democrats have gone to court themselves to obtain such records after repeatedly requesting the IRS to release the returns directly.
3-"Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin rejected Neal’s request in May, saying that it lacked a legitimate legislative purpose. Neal then moved forward with subpoenas to Treasury and the IRS for the returns, which Mnuchin also refused to comply with."

The DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel released their opinion about the Treasury's refusal to turn over President #Trump's tax returns and they, as expected, agreed with the Treasury.

They do NOT have to turn them over.
They stated that Congress does not have the right to make the Executive Branch provide confidential information without a legitimate legislative purpose.
Democrats can thank themselves and Rep Richard Neal from the House Committee on Ways and Means because they and Rep Neal campaigned on "making Trump's taxes public," which was proof that Democrats were trying to abuse their positions and weaponize his taxes for campaign purposes.

BREAKING: President Trump learned within the last 24 hours that Robert Mueller would like to ask questions both orally and written for the President to respond to issues surrounding obstruction of justice.

I guess we now know what set Trump off this morning.
Regardless of what Trump does at this point, fire Mueller, dont fire Mueller there is already a dead man's switch that will spring into action should Trump take the additional step in his ongoing obstruction of justice and actually fire him. Furthermore:
Trump has shown his hand and it is weak. While some Trump supporters, especially the QAnon contingent, will believe him no matter what anyone says, no matter how nonsensical/inconstant his lies might be, eventually enough GOP lawmakers will turn on Trump
