Clients, I would advise you not to get into arguments with reporters about your potential case. Don't be like *checks notes* renowned criminal defense expert Alan Dershowitz. 
Strongly consider NOT writing to the Pullitzer Prize Committee to protest that reporter getting an award.

Give strong thought to avoiding daring people to accuse you of crimes so that you can sue them for defamation.
If you DO manage to dare someone into suing you so that you can prove their allegations false, consider the optics of then moving to dismiss before you can prove their allegation false.
