There are so many things wrong and offensive with this, it’s hard to know where to begin, but I will try...
First, it is racist & misandrist. To reduce people and their value to their immutable characteristics is absurd and morally wrong...
regardless of what those characteristics are. This bashing by “group” is dangerous & needs to stop; people should be judged as individuals, based on their character and action.

Now, before we talk about all the “problems” in our country, let’s show some awareness & gratitude...
We live in a country so great and full of opportunities that people are beating down our virtual doors for a chance to come here and be a part of it.
And, again, while we shouldn’t focus on men vs. woman, if you want to get specific about it...most of what we have is due to men- and those who rightfully got wealthy in providing that to us.
Whether it's having discount stores full of choices of everything from toothpaste to salsa, or having cars, mobile phones, longer life spans due to drugs/healthcare advances, buildings or planes, our abundance, our conveniences, our longer lives are due largely to the work of men
That those who have democratized tech, created unparalleled abundance and convenience are being demonized is pathetic. People aspiring for more is exactly what has made this country prosperous- and by the way- helped lift people out of extreme poverty worldwide at the same time.
Does this all mean we can’t get better? Of course not- we should always strive to improve. But what are all of these “problems” supposedly created by “rich white men”? No idea. The article doesn’t say.
I could perhaps guess and have my own set of areas for improvement. Healthcare being too costly- the same with education. Elementary education not working for many in poorer communities. Families not staying together in poorer communities. I’d suggest that these ...
are not problems created by a certain color or sex, but structural problems created by an overreaching govt. Suggesting more govt-which comes with cronyism of all colors and wealth levels- and not understanding that intentions don’t equal outcomes is core to solving any problems.
And then there is the whole role of President, which has grown to such epic proportions it probably shouldn’t be held by just one person. From Commander-in-Chief, to a whole slew of roles that span foreign and domestic relations, economic and more, it’s a herculean task..
that truly no one person can bit fit for. However, I’d take someone who has experience in managing people and large organizations as a qualification, not an albatross.
Nobody should be denied being President- or anything else- because of the color of their skin, race, sexual orientation, etc.

In the same vein, nobody should become President- or anything else- because of the color of their skin, race, sexual orientation, etc.
Tom Steyer is not someone I’d like to see as President, because of his stances, not because of his color, sex or accomplishments. It’s time to move past the divisive bs and start evaluating people on principles, actions and individual character. THAT is the problem to solve.
