I sat in a private room w Robert Foster & his aide for 1.5 hours to interview him.

He was worried that being alone w him, his aide & @thisislarrison would spark sex scandal rumors.

I’m a gay male reporter with a husband.

Larrison is married to a woman.

Do the math. #MSelex
And spoiler: No one ever thought there might be an issue about him doing an interview in a private room with a gay man. And no one ever floated any rumors either.

It’s hard to see why he’d have more to worry about by allowing access woman who is married to another woman. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What Jesus says is “Render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s, and unto God what is God’s.” He’s saying it in response to some Pharisees who tried to trick him into speaking out against the Romans & incriminating himself. 👇🏻
At the time, the poor in Judea were being taxed mercilessly to pay for the Roman empire’s expansion; religious leaders wanted to trick Jesus into taking a political side.

“But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, ‘You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me?’” (Matt. 22) 👇🏻
So he asks whose image is on the coins, and they say, “Caesar,” so he says to give to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.

But Jesus himself broke the law throughout the NT, so is he being a hypocrite? No. 👇🏻

My God, we are a nation of monsters. @VP Mike Pence saw these men today—384 men in a cage, who have been sleeping on concrete floors with no pillows for weeks, who say they have no toothbrushes, haven’t showered in weeks, and aren’t being fed well.

And Pence calls this “humane.”
Mike Pence sure does love to invoke the Bible when he can use it to condemn & justify hatred against LGBT people, but is really shy about using it to justify the way the Trump admin.

It’s not hard to see why. Here’s a verse from Leviticus Pence will not quote. #CloseTheCamps

the general rule remains: If a child is traumatized in a particular way that affects gender, he will become homosexual..

Many gay men report sexual abuse by a same-sexed person during their boyhood.
Homosexual behavior is a symptomatic attempt to “repair” the original wound that left the boy alienated from the innate masculinity that he has failed to claim.

This differentiates it from heterosexuality, which arises naturally from undisturbed gender-identity development.
Thus, homosexuality is inherently rooted in conflict:

conflict about the acceptance of one’s natural gender, conflict in the parent-child relationship, and usually, conflict regarding ostracism by same-sex peers.
