The days of monopoly of knowledge and "thought leadership" are gone. Gone. You come here to talk down at people and they tell you to go to hell. And they don't care how many degrees, or connections, or Amero-British accents you can unleash. They have ZERO shits left to give.

ZERO apologies left. They wake up singing that "no more fucks" song as they shower, ready to come face you and your condescending tones.
And I'm not talking about the trolls and misogynists. I'm talking about the new crop of unapologetic thinkers up in here.

They don't care how old you are, or where you went to School, or which "boys club" you belong to, or how much hot air you spew here threatening them with lawsuits. They don't care.
I'm here for them. I respect them. Because they make me think carefully, apologise quickly.

Which is a good thing. We have managed to witness a Kenyan age where "orders from above" are being looked at askance. We are beginning to question privilege. We have run out of fucks.
Maybe we can collect this energy and change our country, one day and tweet at a time. ✌🏾✌🏾
