MSM covers the “trend.” And the insane talking point gets even more traction because now it’s not just in your email, your FB groups/feeds, and weirdos in comments and chat rooms. It’s on TV, newspapers, radio. Over and over and over again.
And because the two sides have been psychologically groomed with hair trigger hate for each other, the “trend” and its coverage is an instrument for pushing each side further into their beliefs and APART, regardless of whether any facts are present.
