This is time well spent by our elected officials. I, for one, will not rest until WNBA and NBA players are paid the exact same.
Also, the lack of understanding of basic economics by our elected officials is staggering. The only reason the WNBA exists is because the NBA subsidizes it.
Is this real life? From their letter demanding hearings for on unequal pay for women. Do these senators really not understand basic supply and demand? Or where sports salaries come from?
All the Democrats have to do to beat Trump is not go fucking insane. And they are going fucking insane. It’s unbelievable to watch.

Fascinating detail of Mueller Report as I continue to read: many members of the media actually colluded with Russians to distribute DNC emails. The media is obsessed with idea of Russian collusion, but isn't self-aware enough to realize that THEY were the Russian secret weapon.
No one did more to advance Russian interests than the American media. Not the Democrats, not the Republicans, the media colluded with the Russians and did the dirty work for them. Then created further division by blaming politicians based on divisions they'd already created.
It's absolutely mind blowing once you realize this. The Russians infected the American media with the information they wanted to distribute and then waited for it to go viral. They played all of us. And it worked so well most still don't even realize how we got here. Incredible.

Serena Williams said women were punished more than men in tennis matches & blamed sexism for why it happened. The sports media spread this claim as truth & cheered her for saying it. Turns out twenty years of tennis data shows men are penalized far more often. Data via @nytimes
Fascinating: women (and men) could easily use this data to praise women for better court behavior over past 20 years. Instead those defending Serena are still arguing women are discriminated against based on sex even though data disproves it. Why such a desire to be a victim?
This leads me to a fascinating question I’ve been thinking about a great deal lately: why is there such a desire in modern American society to be a victim? For most of American history we all strove not to be the victims of our stories. Not now. What changed? And when? And why?

One of the problem of the exploit authoring community, is that they are afraid of losing anonymity, and being sued via pre-emptive 'law-fare' by a mega-corp rather than paid, even when engaged in what is presently called: Responsible Disclosure
This misses the whole point of lawyers and attorney-client confidences

An attorney cannot seek out nor counsel how to undertake non-legal actions, but they are ** designed ** to represent the unpopular and the potentially culpable in defense against formal criminal prosecution
With the emergence of an untamperable blockchain, engaging an attorney or three for building an 'onion router' type of cutout system is perfectly attainable, both for communication, and for trusted third party settlements, much like the Letters of Credit proposals seen
