He resigned, tho. He dithered for three weeks, as accusations kept piling up, he offered no coherent defense or explanation for his actions, and then he quit. He wasn't "ousted." He quit.
Steve King was denounced by Republican leaders and stripped of his committee assignments 194 days ago. He's still in the House, and I don't see anyone complaining that his due process rights were violated.
It's worth underscoring that the only specific bad act Franken apologized for in 2017 was the only bad act for which his accuser had photographic evidence. For most of the rest, he offered neither explanation nor apology—then or now.
