Some people asked me why the public can't present their opinions in a peaceful way, and how all these turmoils would come to an end.

但與其講件事可以點樣完，倒不如講下件事係點樣開始。
Instead of focusing on how these turmoils would end, maybe we should look back and see how all these started.

2月13日，保安局開始就送中條例進行公眾諮詢。
February 13, the Security Bureau launched public consultation on the Extradition Bill

3月4日大律師公會發聲明反對
Mar4 HKG Bar Association announced its Observations of the HKGBA on the Security Bureau’s Proposal 2 Amend the Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters Ordinance,Cap. 525 & the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance,Cap. 503, stating its opposition 2 the Bill.

3月19日，香港總商會主席表示反對。
March 19, The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce released the statement on 'Extradition Proposals Require Clearly-defined Framework; Changes Should Not Be Rushed'

4月2日，政府提交條例草案，大律師公會再反對。
April 2, the bill was proceeded to LegCo. The Hk Bar Assn. released 'Observations of the Hong Kong Bar Association on the Fugitive Offenders and Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal and Matters Legislation (Amendment) Bill 2019'

4月3日，在爭議聲下，親中議員支持下，首讀通過。
April 3, the First Reading of the Bill was conducted in LegCo due to the support from the pro-Beijing legislators, despite general public outcry.

4月28日，13萬遊行。
April 28, protest march with 130,000 participants

5月15日，大律師公會再發聲明反對。
HKG Bar Association repeated its opposition to the bill.

5月28日，學界和宗教界發聯署反對。
May 28, petitions by education and religion sectors.

6月6日，法律界遊行反對。
June 6, protest march by law sector.

6月9日，100萬人遊行，全港七分一人口。
June 9, protest march with 1 million participants.

6月16日，200萬人遊行，全港七分二人口。
June 16, protest march with 2 million participants.

政府繼續無視所有反對聲音，拒絕撤回送中條例。
The government ignored any opposition, and rejected withdrawal of the Bill.

之後的故事，就在 150 枚催淚彈的響聲中揭開序幕。

要注意的是，以上所有反對者，不乏商界和法律界的知識份子，絕對不是「廢青」。
Those who protest against the Bill are not only youngsters, but also the educated from business and law sectors.

送中有甚麼問題？你說你不懂。
You claim to be ignorant of the problems arising from the Extradition Bill.

你不懂法治，法律界權威說有問題，你不相信。
You claim to be uninformed of the 'rule of law', and you choose not to believe in views by law professionals.

你不懂經濟，商界賢達說有問題，你不相信。
You claim to know little about the business world, but not trust the leading organisations of the business field.

你說外國勢力亡我中國之心不死，你說他們被煽惑，你說他們收了錢。
You accuse the protesters have been incited with money benefits by foreign influences, in an attempt to overthrow the Beijing regime.

我們的法治和經濟即將被踐踏，我們的城市即將要滅亡。
The city is dying, when its 'rule of law' and economy are being destroyed.

我們和平表達過意見，你不聽，我們還可以怎樣？
The general public have expressed their opinions and views in a peaceful manner, but you opt not to listen. So what else can the general public do?

我已經告訴了你，事情係點樣開始。
And this is how all have started.

Can you tell me how all these would end?

政府何時才願意面對巿民，解決問題，而不是解決提出問題的人？
When will the government respond to all the citizens, and tackle the problem, instead of dealing with those who raise their concerns? #FreedomHKG
