@karenraycosta There's already some comments on the piece where it's apparent that @karenraycosta's point bounced right off. They argue that their policies work to benefit "most" students (w/o evidence). But there is a way to look at this problem that provides freedom to work for all students.
@karenraycosta You gotta change your frame for looking at this issue, which includes not focusing on the note taking itself (as @karenraycosta shows). There's no perfect solution, but it disheartens me that the first comments show instructors who are unwilling to do the work.
