Someone asked how to explain Bitcoin & Crypto to the normies, this got me thinking about how to do this for the top 10. A thread!
1. Bitcoin – Call option on a dystopian future, or digital gold for drug addicts and gun nuts that live in their parents’ basement.
2. Ethereum – Reality TV show that followed those people who said that they wanted to live Burning Man everyday after having left Burning Man, to hilarious results.
3. XRP – Theranos.
4. Litecoin – Your friend’s uncool cousin that tries really hard, and you kind of feel bad for them, but at the same time they’re really uncool and try too hard.
5. Bitcoin Cash – That jock who was a mean to you in high school, but who you met later in life and realized is actually pretty funny.
6. Binance Coin – A Macau casino from a James Bond movie.
7. Tether – That guy who borrowed money from you four years ago and said: “don’t worry, I’m good for it”, but you’ve not seen him since.
8. EOS – Los Pollos Hermanos.
