@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic There are, however, ways of getting past that problem. The start to finding them is to accept the sad reality that the people working in Twitter Safety and Trust (and Support) have no integrity.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic They think nothing of hiding content and then lying about the nature of the material they've hidden, as long as they think that by doing so, they'll make their own working lives slightly easier.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic So, what one has to do is make doing the right thing a little bit easier for them than doing the wrong thing. Archiving is your friend, when it works.

archive.is/9bLuK

Twitter can't make that go away. Or, the unroll I requested above.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic It becomes even more effective if one archives the individual tweets in a thread, including ones from an account they couldn't suspend without a lot of noise being created, like that belonging to @threadreaderapp, because the archive shows copies of neighboring tweets.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic If somebody finds the archived copy of one, he'll find links to the archived copies of others.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic The venal admins at Twitter will go on being venal, and mobs of cranks will go on trying to make use of that venality to silence their critics, but the evidence will remain easily found.

All one has to do is go to

archive . is / url of surviving tweet

and follow the links.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic Between that, and blocking the people likeliest to false flag one's tweets, one can make a lot of unfairness go away.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic I've done that the wrong way (by hand) and spent a lot of time doing so, but am told that there's something called "blockchain" which is great for dealing with twitter mobs, dogpiling and the other joys that sites like 8chan bring into our lives.

Use them and be well? 🙂
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic And sorry your friend had to deal with this nonsense.
@threadreaderapp @GingerMcQueen @rothschildmd @2017seriousmess @prayingmedic ^ not sure that will work this time, but trying it as an experiment
