His mates in the int'l press point out "how courageous" he is for "resisting" Brazilian current Government, slandering our Justice system while trying to get his convicted buddy Lula da Silva out of jail.

The worst thing abt him is that he's seeing himself as untouchable by justice when, in fact, he's only trying to sabotage the biggest operation against corruption in the history of this planet!

This now is a very different case from that of the NSA/Snowden leak. He is "greenwalding" some decent judges and federal prosecutors just because they convicted his new bff Loola da Silva to jail. Would the Car Wash operation have been thought of only for that?

Obviously NOT. Car Wash caught most white collar powerful tycoons from all political parties and business segments and is building strong cases against all of them. Lula da Silva is not a political prisoner. He is just another prisoner who happens to be a politician!

But, as it was said abt him, Lula managed to make a gecko into a crocodile. He expanded the frontiers of corruption into a dream of eternal power. He and his large gang, infiltrated in every vein of out society, got over a trillion USD to bank their dream. Rotten dream, must say!

Not sure when Greenwald got involved with Lula but I know it was many years ago. Probably even before Lula was elected the first time. Can't say for sure. What I can say is that since Car Wash started it was predicted that it would be a target for what we call, "the mechanism".

Just like Mani Pulite was, in Italy, in the 90's. The accusers became the accused and corruption won. Only that we will not let they win and keep quiet this time. The chronology of the facts is evidence of a plan in action. A dark plan. The Foro de São Paulo and URSAL are real!

Back to Mr. GG, I'd say he's being doing it and getting away with it for a long time. Maybe this is the time when he will pay? His "source" is not near as solid as Snowden was. His leaked data is not even compromising, assuming it is all real and unedited. (which I doubt, btw).

His husband was not even elected. He was on a waiting list and got the job on a confuse resignation from another candidate who didn't get the votes either but got the job because of "electoral coefficient". There were candidates with more votes whom didn't make it, oddly enough.

Although his husband got the job as federal congressman, he cannot claim that either one of those on that position were much loved by the people. Just like he, GG, was not. What is really keeping his resolve is the support he is getting from the press here and abroad.

Oh, and of course, Lula's supporters and those deluded with his charisma. Lula is indeed charismatic, but in a bad way, IMHO. He can convince a miserable man that his neighbor is responsible for his misery and not his own ignorance. He cannot get a girl elected as Mayor of Santos

But he got his puppets yelling "Lula Livre". Which got stronger thanks to GG leaks. Carefully planned since day one of Lula's detention, I'd think. There are more convictions to come. Like Sérgio Cabral's, former governor of Rio de Janeiro, convicted to over 300 years in prison.

It is bad, really bad, what I can predict. GG will not give up quietly. He is counting of our Supreme Court, which is not as fair as it should to dismantle the Car Wash or at least remove its key figures from the play. Sérgio Moro, former Federal Judge in Curitiba and

Deltan Dallagnol, Federal Prosecutor in a key position on the Car Wash task force. If they are forced to stand down, (Moro is our Justice Minister), it will be a real mess here. Many convicted fellows will plea for annulment without any right to it. Lula hasn't it either.

His conviction was confirmed by two superior courts already. He is also convicted again in another process and responds for yet another number of indictments. With many others already serving their terms, from different parties or business, some related, some unrelated to Lula.

How can a 5 years old ongoing investigation on corruption be aimed only at getting Lula out of an election, that he would never win anyway, no matter what the fake polls said. It is easy to verify and already denounced that money buys polls results. See what happened in the US...

With Trump and Hillary, I mean. Didn't the polls had Hillary winning the election? It has happened here many times in the past as well. But they insist that polls are the reflection of the reality, with a 5% chance of mistake, which happens so oftenly that is more like 95% i/o 5%

I read a long thread about how GG was against the news about Russia hacking whatever in the US and thus helping Trump to win, IIRC. Seemed a strange position for him to be, against DEM and pro Trump. But he must have had his reasons. Here it is a little different.

The Task Force had their equipment, mobiles and computers, invaded abt 10 days before Greenwald interviewed Lula in jail. YT has the full video. Long and boring, at some point Lula asks Glenn to investigate the Task Force and the Judge! PT's VP candidate had put Glenn in play.

So she said, at least. She got a call from the hacker saying she'd been hacked. He asked her to put him in contact with GG. She agreed, after receiving an audio file from the stolen material and decided not to report the hacker! Why would a hacker need Manuela to reach Glenn?

The Intercept BR site has a contact info to anyone wishing to be a source for them... No need for Manuela D'Ávila to do anything, specially forget to report a crime she allegedly was a victim of. I know I wouldn't forget to report it.

After that contact with the hacker, Glenn went on to interview Lula in jail. About 10 days later, Sérgio Moro had his phone/computer hacked and a few days after, the tabloid started to print their story, in a dropper like style. And without the dignity of informing their targets

And without previously giving them the chance to provide their side of the story. Now, I know Deltan from the campaign to pass a bill against corruption in 2015/2016. In São Paulo, where I live, I had frequent contact with the Federal Prosecutor part of the Car Wash force here.

I cannot say what Deltan is like in his intimacy (gladly) but in public, speaking to a crowd, presenting his cases or lecturing an audience, he is pretty much the image of the good guy. The agent of the law whose mission is to put bad guys behind bars! Isn't that what he did?

I've never met Judge Moro before but I have taped his presentations to congress here on the anti corruption law project. His and all the other supporters of that piece of legislation. I simply cannot accept that one activist disguised as journalist can attack good characters!

Look at his background. He is a hard left married to a hard left now in the congress for the next 4 years, in a hard left party (PSOL) which is a satellite of PT, with many of their members deep into trouble with the Car Wash. Isn't it obvious that the target is to free Lula?

And consequently, terminate the Car Wash operation, freeing all the convicted felons. Some are already doing hard time (after up to 4 instances of appeal) and would simply be back into society tomorrow?

About his husband: Snowden did a video for his campaign in 2018 and it was a fail. David Miranda didn't get the votes to be elected. When Moro was deposed in congress, he arrogantly bragged that he had been elected and deserved respect. Alternates are not elected like the rest.

About Jean Wyllys who resigned to give the spot to David. He claims that he is of some importance. He is not. He is a former reality show participant, BBB, whom has won his edition due to the gay vote. After he got elected to congress for 2 terms, IIRC. Last election he failed.

He didn't get the necessary votes but because of some crazy math they do here, he took the spot of people with much more votes than him. I don't know how it works but hey, life is like this, right?

Oh, he also claims to be the first representative of the gay community in congress. That is an outright lie. We had Clodovil, famous stylist and TV host, in the congress, when Jean were nothing but a child. And Clô was a gentleman, refined, polite and very gay.
