@TheJusticeDept @BillClinton The claim the 1994 Assault Weapons Ban decreased total gun murders by 6.7%, is also bogus. It was rejected by researchers when @SenFeinstein first drummed up that lie.

The decline had nothing to do with the ban, rather a combination of other factors found in the mirror.
