This is correct -- the touchbar is bad design. I'm still accidentally triggering random actions after 6 months of use. Never used it for anything other than volume / brightness / track control, which was much better with physical keys. Just bad design.

The thing is, having a fixed keyboard layout that doesn't change on you and that you can use without looking is a feature. Tactile feedback is a feature. And these are important features!

You can't take important features away without providing any clear value in return
