Thank goodness we have an economic system that [checks notes] pays dogs, differential *wages*, according to ... uh ... the way they use exercise treadmills? 🤨
Is the problem that socialists would pay dogs for walking on treadmills or that socialists would pay dogs the same amount regardless of the way they use the treadmills?

Either sounds really bad!
I'd completely missed the dog/treadmill aspects of socialism, seems like some pretty serious unintended consequences could result from this idiosyncratic policy focus.
The free-market answer is that we pay dogs for their treadmill work and in return they pay us for food and board but I think supply/demand factors may lead to a wave of canine insolvency.
Frankly a more viable free-market business model for dogs would probably be more akin to a Kardashian-style social media influencer role than what appears to be a very inefficient form of draft-animal energy production.
In that sense I suspect the lazy cheeky dog has a keener eye for a market opportunity and is a better capitalist than the obedient Stakhanovite on the left. It's like they've never watched reality TV!
