God grants you fresh vision. What seems to be a clear revelation of His will. Energizes and exhilarates you after a season of aimlessness. Finally! Your breakthrough has come! Then God seems to personally assume the position of making it impossible for you to do. Sound familiar?

Sounds familiar because it IS familiar. Start with Abraham & then check with Moses. Move on through Scripture & interview David. Jeremiah’s a good next stop. Some of the whys are hidden in the infinite mind of the divine but there’s no doubt many in Scripture experienced this.->

A huge part of it is trust. God knows good & well that what our flesh really wants is for Him to get us started & foot the bill & then we’ll take it from there. We have to endure to receive the promise. (Heb 10:36) It’s also, I think, God forming the muscle in us the job’ll take.

Notice in the OT, He gave His people the land then made them fight for it. Why? Because muscle was going to be required to keep it. Do you really think once you’re truly activated & anointed in your calling that the devil’s just going to let you operate unopposed?Are you kidding?

Oh oh oh wait. I almost forgot that many young servants don’t really believe in a devil. Give it a minute. You will. After he beats you to a bloody pulp, you will. Anyway, I’m writing to you this morning to say that, if this sounds familiar to you, do not give up. DO NOT QUIT.

Such is the path of many saints. Years may pass before you see the evidence of what God called you to believe & pursue. Be faithful! Remember, this is the same God whose supreme promise came via a virgin giving birth.
God gives the promise.
Makes it impossible.
Then does it.
