(The kids at the South Florida Water Management District drafted this gem on August 28, before Dorian even had a name--and its accuracy is so refined that some of the hurricane paths sketched here run off the x and y boundaries of the chart.)
From the chart itself: "If anything on this graphic causes confusion, ignore the entire product."

President Trump, an experienced meteorologist, chose not to be confused.
CORRECTION: Dorian was named on August 24th. My error pointed out by the infallible @tracyrwalsh. The chart, however, remains a MESS.

1/4: With Dorian bearing down on Florida, recalling when my lawyers asked President Trump under oath about an $18.3 million insurance payment for hurricane damage to Mar-a-Lago. He pocketed a chunk of that but couldn’t recall how much damage there was:

2/4: When my attorney asked Trump during a 2007 deposition if he ever plowed his huge insurance payment back into Mar-a-Lago, he pointed out that “under the insurance plan you didn’t have to” even though “the hurricane really did tremendous damage.”
3/4: “What kind of damage specifically did you have to the property from these hurricanes?” my lawyer asked.

“I don’t remember that; I really don’t,” Trump replied. “They did appraisals.”
