(1) Dorian is now at Category 5 and has slammed into the Bahamas with sustained winds of 185 mph (296 kmh) with gusts up to 225 mph (360 kmh).
(2) Winds of this intensity are considered "catastrophic"

(3) The storm surge it created is considered "life-threatening".

(4) At 1:00 pm today, Florida authorities issued mandatory evacuation orders for 215,000 residents living in Palm Beach, including Mar-a-lago, as well as the opening of emergency shelters.

(5) Granted one should not expect good judgment or common sense from a former failed prime minister whose disastrous 1993 election campaign mocked Jean Chretien's appearance because he has Bell's palsy, which pretty much destroyed the Progressive Conservative party.

(6) But in the name of simple decency, how could you have tweeted that you were "rooting" for Dorian to hit Mar-a-Lago because you hate Trump?

(7) All decent people, of course, regardless of their political ideology, hope that Florida and everywhere else escapes the brunt of Dorian.
(8) That, of course, would exclude you, notwithstanding your smarmy, half-baked apology.

(9) Have fun in your current job of recommending Supreme Court judges to the Trudeau government but you might want to pray nobody dies in the vicinity of where you "rooted" for Dorian to hit.
