Writing a book about farked up things people did back then.

Sad thing is people don’t get it when it comes to trans lives: we do matter even though some people think we don’t & our very existence is drawn into question.

If they only took my name off list they’d appear directly #transphobic but underhanded way they did it erasing award winners before me & Belinda makes it harder to hold to account.

Silver lining was rep stuff got better & bullies gone from Sydney team - 2006. #Rugby #transathlete

“That’s why you’re being suspended & they’re not.

“They’ll be given a verbal warning.”

The players in question were mentally immature, but they were adults [early 20s] & one was his daughter!

That year they took my voice away & it still affects me greatly all because cishet people couldn’t deal with a #TransAthlete on their team.

In 2007 I was member of national winning teams in rugby, athletics & runners-up in league. I also represented NSW in women’s State of Origin.

I was then selected to represent Sydney & NSW again.

Unfortunately injury ruled me out of State of Origin & Rugby Nationals, but I was still included in squads.

My 2008 NSW Barbarians RL coach AWRL Nationals Butch Barber (but was coaching opposing team at the time) put them in their place!

Video clip of knees into my back - she’s since told me she was trying to fit into bullying culture at the time. She’s since apologised. I accepted & we’re friends.

Other bullies still same.

It meant a lot and empowered me to continue playing sport over the next 10 years.
