Here's the issue: nowadays when someone calls for a public list, it's generally for nefarious reasons: to ruin someone. Also, since when is an individual's money "your" money? Also, is this fundraising event a public event? If not, the donors are entitled to their privacy. (1)
I could care less who donates to whom. It's none of my business what they do with their money, just as it's none of yours. You may not have said "blacklist," but the implication was most certainly there. Otherwise, why call for a list of donors? It's why Whoopie Goldberg (2)

they think differently than I do. I WILL choose to spend my money elsewhere (as in the case of Jimmy John's) if I find out their profits go to something against my personal values... but that's the beauty of freedom. Let's not suppress the freedom and privacy of others. (6)
It's wrong on so many levels, and as Whoopie pointed out... inherently dangerous. Be honest with yourself: if someone WERE to publish that list at your behest, and one of the people on that list was hurt or killed as a result of your actions, could you live with that?? (7)
Could you HONESTLY live with yourself knowing that you were part of the reason another human being got hurt? I know I couldn't. Those are my thoughts on the matter. (Fin)
