Sen @SenFeinstein is speaking about the Menashi nomination. Noting that he does not have the support of his home state Senators (NY); that Menashi worked in the Trump WH Counsel's ofc but hasn't explained what he worked on. She wants to know if worked on family separation.
@SenFeinstein .@SenFeinstein also expresses concern about his work in the Dept. of Education with Secretary Betsy DeVos. In addition Feinstein flags comments he's made about Islam, writings endorsing ethnically homogenous societies.
@SenFeinstein Feinstein notes the Second Circuit Court of Appeals is an important one. Also quite racially diverse, and the seat he would fill is the seat that was held by Thurgood Marshall (@NAACP_LDF 's founder and later Supreme Court Justice).
