The navy will only buy the AMCA. If that will happen ONLY after MWF is made, then the navy won’t have an indigenous fighter for a long time. Once the 3rd carrier comes in,we will need another 100 jets which we will be forced to import.

How can you have an LCA Mk1, Mk1A, Mk2, a new twin engine 4G fighter for navy & an AMCA program running simultaneously?
Navy had made it clear it needs twin engine jet. Even the IAF has a preference for twin engined jet & we need a 5G fighter for both IAF & IN.
