@UKSupremeCourt As someone who has been in... over 100? civil courts there is nothing like @UKSupremeCourt for accessibility, friendliness, efficiency and living up to the principle of open justice. They deserve huge credit, this stuff isn't easy. And it's how a constitutional court should be.

@UKSupremeCourt It's worth noting, though, that as @BarristerSecret has exposed, the rest of the court system is mostly an underfunded disaster area. Don't assume shiny @UKSupremeCourt is the norm - it's the exception.
Public inquiries are also excellent but they have separate non-MoJ funding

@UKSupremeCourt @BarristerSecret Sorry, one more thing, this case has taken about 3 weeks from start to finish, from when it was issued! It really is astounding how well it all worked

@UKSupremeCourt @BarristerSecret I wrote this six year ago on how good the @UKSupremeCourt was becoming at this and how great it would be if hearings could be re-run. I got my wish! theguardian.com/law/2013/jan/2…
