Some transgender/crossdresser bios.

(The sites themselves use “TG/CD” all the time because they have members who identify as either, both, or questioning. There is no “crossdressers and transgender are not the same” mantra, at least not anymore.)

THIS is a self-aware AGP. He describes the compulsive nature of the “hobby,” as well as how “hedonistic” and irresponsible he is in “girl mode.”

This one is a near-perfect example of the nature and progression of AGP.

1. Sexual urge starting in boyhood

2. Focus at times on a *specific woman* to emulate (sometimes this is a celebrity, but more often a family member)

3. Accompanied by shame

4. Escalates at retirement

A note re:🔺. This is a common theme, wanting to expand crossdressing practice after retirement. While they’re working, these men usually prioritize their professional efficacy over CD urges. They’re pragmatic. But they consider exploring the “woman within” a retirement reward.

🔺 Now, think about the social power of a white man in his sixties, one who worked his whole life within his male role. THIS is who is powering this movement from above. Even if they don’t come out, they’re sympathetic, and they want the world to be their “safe playground.”

One CDer talks about their “manly” upbringing, bringing a chorus of “me too”s.

A good discussion of the compulsive and addictive nature of the practice, as well as a glimpse into the “woman = sex and disinhibition” mindset (“the sensuality of a woman”). Also lots of justifying and “making it fit” into a model they can enjoy without reservation.

🔺 Notice here that the second poster implies that women don’t find their own clothes arousing ONLY because we’re used to them. This is VERY common. CDers and AGP TIMs believe being aroused by lingerie is a normal female experience. They believe their experiences are like ours.

If you’re unable to stop crossdressing while deployed into a war zone, you’re addicted.

This is common.

The posts here and 🔺 are all from the same thread. Lots of “me too” from the military crowd. A uniform makes a good “male” container.

🔺🔺 And these aren’t low-ranked military members. Some of them have attained the highest enlisted ranks. They are committed and focused in their “manly” roles. This is NOT the poor imitation you’d see from, say, a homosexual doing their best in a het marriage. They EXCEL as men.

If your compulsion keeps you from sustaining a relationship, you’re addicted.

This is a classic AGP marriage account. They frequently believe their spouse isn’t uncomfortable, but jealous, often because they “dress better” than her or the like.

When gays and lesbians are first exploring their sexuality, they do it as THEMSELVES. They don’t dissociate into an alternate persona, even if they, for whatever reason, use a fake name.

An AGP’s “femme persona” has no equivalent in the practice of homosexuality.

After reading several hundred of these, it becomes clear that these CDing and trans-ID’d men have a pattern of thinking like this:

“As a man, I can do and feel x, and as a woman, I can do and feel y.”

They have to embody the “correct” sex for specific activities and emotions.

And this where the divergence comes in, why some men are just fine feeling some things in “man mode” while others need to be “en femme” to access those same emotions-

It all depends on what they were taught is normal and admirable for men to feel, & what is only okay for women.

And this is why we CANNOT let these men prescribe gender norms to us! They were raised with ideas of sex-based behavior SO RESTRICTIVE that they had to develop a compensatory fetish in order to cope.

These are NOT people we should be authorizing to define womanhood.
