Tomorrow you have a chance. Ocean plastic & recycling are important. Twiggy's doing awesome stuff. But can you feel the fear on climate & emissions?! We're fiddling while the world literally burns!

We face the greatest human challenge for generations! We’re not improving our targets? We are using trickery & misleading about our national emissions.

In the past, I believe Australia has always stepped up when asked. We’ve never dodged our global responsibilities... until now.

The science is clear. Coal is the #1 source of climate damage. Our world is at war & Aus is one of the principal arms dealers!

As only 25m people, we generate + export over 5% of the world’s emissions today. We're on track for 13% by 2030! The responsibility should terrify you.

... & you're using the arms dealer defence - "what people do with it is their choice"?!

What do you think they do with it. They burn it!

Say something _bold_ at the UN. For Australia. For our pride. For our fucking planet.

5 of the 10 biggest companies in Australia have committed to run on 100% renewable energy by 2025 through @theRE100. Why can't we do that with government energy usage?! Our schools? Our transportation networks? Our hospitals? Commit.

Be brave and be on the right side of history!

We need structural reform of our economy for a zero carbon world.

We need a _plan_ to justly transition out of our fossil fuel industries.

We need policies which squeeze pollution out of the economy.

We need a net-zero carbon strategy for our agriculture sector! 🌱

We need to stop the bloody debate around the environment vs jobs. This isn't a battle. They are complimentary not exclusive.

Other countries get this! California has 5 clean energy jobs for each 1 in the fossil fuel industry. Why don't we get that opportunity?! 🤷🏻‍♂️ So frustrating

On that, Australia has massive opportunities here! We should be a renewable energy superpower.

We can generate huge numbers of jobs. We have exporting DNA. We've crushed giant engineering challenges as a nation. We've done this before. I believe our government _can_ think big.

But Australia didn’t come to the UN with a speech or a plan!

What we need is real bloody leadership - instead we just get talking points.

Please give us a future we can believe in tomorrow. Inspire us. Lead us. Don't bullshit us.
