I fucking love that we still have poster sessions. That people are happy to print research on giant paper & travel thousands of miles at great expense to hang it on a wall, stand next to it, & explain it to strangers who accidentally make eye contact with you as they wander past.
Poster sessions are the great loophole for med students and residents to put together some bullshit in order to travel to another city to get drunk and not learn anything for a few days. Never change academia
