STEP ONE: no confidence vote - VONC

A vote would be held in the Commons. If majority of MPs vote in favour of Boris Johnson, he'll remain PM.

If they vote against him, he will be expected to resign.

STEP TWO: Commons coalition

After a government is dissolved in a VONC, there’s a two week grace period for former government or opposition MPs to unite to form a alliance that can command the majority of the House.

If this is achieved, the alliance leader will go to the Queen and tell her that they have the confidence of the Commons and can be temporary head of her new government.

If no one's able to form a unified government during two-week period, an election will have to be called.

STEP THREE: Jeremy Corbyn has said that any new administration under Labour leadership would be “strictly time-limited” and that his first aim would be to seek an extension to the Article 50 process to STOP the UK automatically leaving EU *without* a deal on 31 October.

After delaying Brexit, Corbyn would call a General Election to allow public to elect a new permanent government.

In that election Labour would campaign for another referendum on a Brexit deal that you'll know the details of, with option of an *informed* Leave or Remain vote.

If @joswinson fails to support Jeremy Corbyn in removing Boris Johnson, and Johnson crashes the UK out of Europe WITHOUT a deal, this will be more damaging for the Lib Dem's than backing Tory austerity.
