Johnson can’t get tone right. Corbyn calmly asks for evidence of new backstop. Perfectly reasonable. PM starts shouting & jabbing like he’s at Oxford Union again. Ignores request for proposals and simply says he wants a deal. Incredible he’s waited his whole life for this. #PMQs

Johnson’s a great actor but amazed he can keep a straight face through this. Corbyn confronts him with the no-deal evidence compiled by his own government. Johnson accuses him - and by extension his own government - of scaremongering. #PMQs

Why have Tories have always placed such faith in Johnson’s oratory skills? Corbyn no natural parliamentary performer but is running rings around him. Thinking on his feet, posing direct and unanswerable questions, seems like the grown-up. Johnson is finally being found out. #PMQs
