It's always a problem when you criticise the BBC, that people do it so often and from all sides, and you have to justify it.
I can justify it. What Andrew Marr did just now was propaganda.

Okay. What happened?

Andrew Marr sat there just now and on raw telly announced that for the first time the Brexit argument was starting to percolate out of Westminster into real life.

And that is a bare faced lie.

People have never stopped talking or thinking about Brexit. Whether it's a company trading in Europe, or Brits living and working in Europe, and Europeans living and working in Britain, for millions of people Brexit is personal and pressing.

Brexit was never confined to the Westminster bubble. It couldn't be because it has threatens to upend millions of people's lives and livelihood.
And not only that but hundreds of thousands of people demonstrate this again and again.

This is obviously a policy of the BBC, and they're turning into a kind of Brexit Pravda.

The BBC has spent three years posturing to itself that the whole country has accepted Brexit. That staying in the European Union no longer exists as a political idea.

And then to suggest that millions of us who never accepted it and never will, are insane. Okay, we're on the internet, and probably too much, but what's insane about it?

You see what I mean about a Brexit Pravda. The BBC says that everyone has stopped thinking about Brexit, when a million people are demonstrating the opposite, and right in its face.

The BBC postures that Brexit has never impinged on anyone's personal life before, when that is quite blatantly wrong.

And the BBC has gone to almost Soviet levels of hypnosis to convince itself that the whole country is reconciled with Brexit. When that is in flat defiance of fact.

Like I said, it's always awkward to criticise the BBC because any complaint is easily dismissed as kind of blaming the referee for losing the game.
That's why you have to justify yourself and identify exactly what the fault is.

There are millions of people, real life people, who never accepted that Brexit was over, that the argument was done with.
And Andrew Marr just sat there and lied through his face that Brexit is not a concern of real people in real life.

And for these reasons the BBC does deserve the criticism this time. They have become a Brexit Pravda. For three years they have pretended that the remain side didn't exist. In spite of us demonstrating our numbers and noise.

Now finally even Andrew Marr and the BBC have to admit that Brexit is still an open question and Remain is still current.
And then pretending it's new. Like millions of us ever went away.

Like I said way back, once the BBC adopted Brexit as a corporate posture, their journalism has been infected with wrong.

The BBC has been lying about Brexit for years. The Pravda of Brexit. Like three Brexit monkeys. See no remain, Hear no remain, Speak no remain.
