I know you don't because you've been taught by the media to doubt your own senses. You've got no confidence in the law, and that makes you doubt where there is none.

What you know is that on October 19th Boris backslide is going to ask for an extension.
Then there'll be a general election, most probably on November 28th. Maybe a week earlier, but certainly no later.

And the reason you know all that is because of the law. The Benn Act is law. The Tories keep posturing that they've got ways to break it, but they haven't. They're trying to create doubt where there is none.
Seriously, the law is fine.

You even heard Lord Sumption, a former Supreme Court judge, say that the law seems perfectly tight.
But still you keep doubting yourself. Johnson is posturing that he "knows" something. But he doesn't. There is nothing to know. The law is as written.

On October 17th the European Council will refuse Johnson a new treaty. On October 19th he will ask for an extension.
Then we can have the election, and Farage will tear into the Tory vote claiming betrayal. Because that's what he does. He exploits weakness.

There is no escaping any of these things. When we get into the election, with Brexit still unresolved, the Brexit party will drain the Tory vote one way, and the Lib Dems the other, and the Tories can't win a majority.

That's how it's all going to work out because it can't work out any other way. But in spite of constantly having explained why it's bound to work out that way, you still have no confidence.
