I tell my friends and colleagues on center-right and right that @chucktodd is the equal of anyone in broadcast on smarts, preparation, good humor (and encyclopedic sports knowledge.) This interview shows why @realDonaldTrump sits down w/ Chuck. (@POTUS should do so more often.)
He may disagree with your premise, your logic or your conclusions, but he hears and understands them. The problem in journalism is the opposite of @chucktodd approach: They won’t even try to understand the other side’s POV much less be willing to change theirs if facts warrant.
But the stunner in today’s interview is that some of @Chucktodd family left before end of #WildCardGame for @Nationals. That was my dad: He never ever saw the end of any game. Ever. We’d often hear crazy cheers from Muni as we walked to car at 5 minute mark in @Browns game. Sigh.
Is there a psychological term for people who are compelled to leave sporting events early to avoid (very real) traffic snarls that last an hour+? (@Browns parking in the ‘60s and ‘70s.) If not, @TarzanaJoe please provide the new term for the phenomenon.
