The Tamarac City Commission is considering censuring Commissioner Mike Gelin for his calling out Broward County Sheriff's Deputy Joshua Gallardo for wrongfully arresting him during an awards ceremony last week.

The censure motion is being considered despite Commissioner Gelin having released his cell phone video of the arrest, which shows he was indeed wrongly arrested and that Deputy Gallardo did in fact lie on the police report.
