Yeah cus Black voters always take our cues from White voters in states where the Black population is under 4%....
SMH at how they can’t even be bothered to drill into the reasons why the candidates who’ve been struggling with Black voters are still struggling with Black voters. “They’ll come around” is paternalistic and dismissive, also a setup for failure.
We’re told that Biden has a firewall because Black voters think a woman or person of color doesn’t stand a chance with the White majority in the general, so if Liz overtakes him with White Ds in IA and NH, how doesn’t that hand Kamala more second looks from Black voters too? 🧐
IOW, if Biden really does have a Black firewall but Warren successfully weakens the notion of his electability and inevitability early in the primary, she isn’t automatically the recipient of any/all Black voters he might lose along the way. No shade, just reality.
Also if the alleged lure and inevitability of Biden has so much to do with him being a White man, why wouldn’t Black voters also take a second look at Beto who actually won 89% of the Black vote in a state with a representative Black electorate? 
Oh and Beto didn’t just win those votes because Black folk “came aboard”, he *earned* them by demonstrating his interest in and capability of being a reliable White ally. It’s a huge mistake to assume such a skill is no longer required in the *Democratic* primary.
