SB1, the bill @GavinNewsom plans 2 veto, would “protect CA’s residents, workers, & enviro from baseless fed rollbacks of clean air, clean water, endangered species, & worker safety standards.” But hey, who needs any of that nonsense when we can just breathe, drink, & eat money?

This story is going around again but I'd like to remind people that all we have confirmed is that in 2016 the air force said they would have this system replaced by 2017.
I know government budgets and tech infrastructure: it ain't done.
Especially given that no one seems willing to confirm that it's done.

This programme investigates the claim that young trans identified people need fast, surgical intervention as otherwise they may end their lives. The claim that 40% of young transidentified people will attempt suicide.
There is currently a law being proposed that 15 year olds should be able to access surgery, with or without parental consent.

We start with Aleksa Lindberg, a transwoman who went through transition quite some years ago. Aleksa seems very level headed and explains very clearly
her experience of dysphoria from a young age.

The presenter agrees that this has been essential help for trans identified people, but that their has been a worrying increase of young girls identifying as trans many of whom have several other psychological diagnoses.
