Re taking calm and deliberate as a weakness, I think of it this way: in a time of chaos and emergency, I’d feel much better with someone who keeps their head and calmly does what needs to be done vs. someone using their energy to scream and further whip people into a frenzy.
Also: the narrative they’re running is that the Dems are attempting a deep state coup. How might the optics of members of the so-called “deep state” hauling people to jail play into that narrative? Especially when other means to accomplish the same goal are available?
