Negotiator speak - see a pathway equals nowhere near an agreement but we at least listened to each other
Moderately positive, without going to the detail. Still struggling to see how we get from here to deal in a handful of days
In the past positive noises from Johnson meetings soon dissipated, let's see whether there is practical follow up this time.
Positive towards a deal if true and sustained, but would represent Johnson climb down so caution until confirmed by UK government

Really not smelling like a Brexit deal to me. I may be wrong, not always possible to gauge things from outside, but a lot of climbing down would be needed between the two sides
Also wondering if Varadkar might be playing Johnson's aim to please in meetings, and giving UK much harder time in maintaining position. Again, speculative.
In the unlikely event the UK leaves the EU with a deal on October 31st all the 'Get ready for Brexit' adverts will have been inaccurate in terms of content
