my car’s remote died a couple months ago and now my car alarm goes off when i open the door about a quarter of the time.
this is probably a fixable problem but i think i’ll just unlock the car, open the door, swear loudly, close the door, lock & then unlock it again before entering for the rest of my life.
i do not want advice

the screening of part two of ava duvernay’s netflix miniseries about the central park five is starting at the jefferson school in a few minutes. after the screening, there will be another panel discussion.
part 2 of the series focused on the trial of the five boys wrongfully accused and convicted in the central park jogger case in 1989. the panel for this portion has a former judge, the current prosecutor, a defense attorney, the police chief, the city manager, & councilor bellamy

borden's sentencing hearing remains the single most bizarre thing i've ever seen in a courtroom

It's weird, because @ljmontello's affidavit mentions the 2004 (Paragraph 6), 2007 (Paragraphs 7-8), and 2009 (Paragraph 9) conventions

She never claimed to be at Tekko 2010. Why are you lying?

The motion is weak and the basis is LOLable, but my suspicion is that the judge will grant it (though likely for less than 3 weeks)

Defendants will argue the burden is on Plaintiff to show good cause (the motion doesn't do that), plus ongoing harassment

Positive for the Defendants. He gives their attorneys lots of usable material

A good rule of thumb as y'all see an assortment of "bUt ThEy LiEd UnDeR oAtH" tweets from conVics is that they're typically projecting – accusing others of the things they themselves or R.Broly have done

Maple View Farms already has a line out the door and across the parking lot. Evidently everyone else had the same idea I did 😂
I used to bypass the line by getting it from Pine Cone in Durham, which bought Maple View product in bulk. But they closed a couple months ago so now I'm here voluntarily standing around in a cloud of tree jizz

Something weird is happening in the woods outside my house and I don't know what to do.
I guess I should start at the beginning. This isn't really my house, it was my grandpa's, but I guess it's mine now. He died a couple months ago and because of some tricky paperwork I'm apparently responsible for it now.
He lived pretty far away, up in the mountains by the lake. There are a couple other houses down the road but they seem like they're empty for the season. I assume they're summer houses. I've been here for a few days and it's really pretty, but it's super quiet and chilly.
