Beyond road construction, we have started expanding the bus rapid transit system and gradually reducing the danfo buses on the roads. I am excited to announce that we have purchased over 800 buses to add to the existing BRT fleet expanding to more routes #SolvingLagosTraffic
The newly purchased buses are good quality, air-conditioned buses that we hope will encourage more residents to leave their cars at home and use our BRTs.

We are supportive of private investment in transportation that is non exploitative. This week, I launched @Uber Boats the first of many private-sector efforts at providing safe & efficient water transport working with our water transportation initiatives. #SolvingLagosTraffic
Working with the @Uber boats team, water transportation will be affordable and safe expanding to more routes. We want water transportation to ramp up to more parts of the state. We are building and renovating existing jetties #SolvingLagosTraffic
LASWA is clearing the water hyacinths and waste that have taken over our water ways. Security on the waterways is being taken seriously as well.

Beyond the entry of the private sector into water transportation, our Lag ferry service is being upgraded. More boats, better facilities and better trained personal. In #SolvingLagosTraffic other transportation alternatives must work.
