THE PRESIDENT: Well, I would think that, if they were honest about it, they’d start a major investigation into the Bidens. It’s a very simple answer.
Mulvaney tried to cop to a lesser quid pro quo that didn't include an investigation into Trump's political opponent, but the record shows it was always at the center. Mulvaney's obfuscation actually makes one thing clear: they know just what an unprecedented abuse this was. (6/6)
