@mrc314 Agree. National Food Guidelines (NFG) provide a legitimate marketing platform for industry.

Relatedly, every public health policy/program based on NFG (HSR, the HF Tick) benefits the marketing teams of food industry, with no benefit to human health.

The benefit to food industry goes further than just marketing... with each day humans are not cooking at home ...we move further toward a dependence on packaged & ready-to-eat foods, & away from food sovereignty (food knowledge. cooking skills etc)
@mrc314 Western food guidelines adopted by the WHO & other well-meaning agencies for adaptation to developing nations.

We are crushing traditional ingredients & cuisines, local food knowledge etc making way for monocrops, mass production & dependence on packaged food
